Submission Guidelines

Before you submit your site, please be sure of the following:

Your site meets with our Guidelines and you have read what types of sites we will not accept.
You have selected the most relevant heading or category to submit your site to. Drill down to the lowest possible heading.
You have selected an appropriate Title and Description:
- Your Title must be the official business or organization name or the name of your web site. Do not use keywords or promotional language. Do not use all caps.
- Your Description must be a good quality overview of your products or services. Do not use all caps. Do not type a list of keywords. The Description should flow and be easily read. Do not use promotional language such as "we are the best" or list pricing.
You have provided a valid email address. We must be able to validate your email address.
Make sure you submit only the main root url of your site, unless you purchased our deep link plan.
- Do not submit www.yourname.com/aboutus.html. Instead submit only www.yourname.com.
- If you are purchasing one of our Deep Link plans, then YOU MAY submit www.yourname.com/aboutus.html
Make sure you have placed the required reciprocal link on the site you are submitting.
- Make sure you place the code AS IS into the page you specify at signup.
- Our link code MUST be placed on your site BEFORE you submit your site. Our system will verify that it is on your site and will not allow you to submit your site until you have placed the required code on your site.
- Do not submit one site and place the required link on another site (domain name). Requesting to add the site www.123.com and submitting a url that DOES NOT begin with the domain www.123.comis not allowed.
If your site is a directory or search engine...
- You may submit your site only to headings listed under Web Directories. If you would like to submit to a different category, and you are a searh engie or directory, you must use our paid inclusion option.
You may submit your site only once to a specific heading.
- You may submit your site to multiple headings in our directory by filling out the submit link form multiple times. You just cannot submit more then once to the same heading.
- If you want to submit multiple pages of your site (deep links) to a specific heading, please use our paid inclusion option.
We will not accept sites...
That contain adult, illegal or questionable content:
- Sites that promote or contain materials, content, products, media or themes of an adult nature. No dating sites.
- Sites that promote or contain content pertaining to alcohol, gambling or illegal drugs, sexual or weight loss type drugs.
- Sites that contain illegal material, illegal products, illegal downloads, or illegal content.
- Sites that we deem as vulgar, offensive, inappropriate, hateful or obscene.
- Sites that promote or contain views, opinions, beliefs or philosophies that are or can be construed as objectionable and/or creating controversy. Such topics include but are not limited to: Political, Religious, Philosophical, Medical, Spiritually, Metaphysical, Mediation and Alternative Health or Mental Care.
That are personal or ramblings:
- Sites that are personal homepages.
- Sites that are blogs, journals or forums.
That are fake, deceptive or lack content:
- Sites that are mostly links (legitimate directories are ok - see above note on directories).
- Sites created for sole purpose of displaying pay-per-click or cost-per-click type ads.
- Sites that redirect to another site upon entering.
- Sites that consist of only one page or only pages built for the sole purpose of search engine placement. No doorway or gateways!
- Sites that are mirrors of other sites. Use only your primary URL. Do not submit both.
- Sites that do not have a URL but rather an IP address.
- Sites that are under construction are blank or contain no useful information.
That are not relevant to our directory's target audience:
- Sites that are not in English.
- Sites that are not owned by companies or organizations located in the United States or are not relevant to our directories content or purpose..
That do not link back or modify our code:
- We require you to place a link back to us on your site. We will not add your link if you do not first add ours. Likewise, we will remove our link to you if you remove the link to us.
- We require that the link you give us be able to be seen and clicked. Do not try to hide the link, add a no-follow attribute, change the size or color or the location it opens up to. We are giving you a link that others will be able to find you from and giving you free advertising. We appreciate if you do the same.

Other Things to Note:

We reserve the right to edit and modify your listing information such as Title, Description, URL, Etc. as well as change the heading or category that you will be listed under at any time.
We reserve the right to remove your link at any time because of violation of these terms or any other reason. We may also at our determination and sole discretion and without notice or disclosure remove any published listings from our website in part or as a whole from our entire website or specific geographic areas or headings.
We reserve the right to reject or accept listing at our discretion without reason, notice or disclosure. Your submission is no guarantee of inclusion into our directory.
We will not post your site (listing) if you spam us with the same site, similar sites or use fake email addresses. We reserve the right to block or ban you from our network and remove your site's listings on our network of affiliated sites.
We will not post your listing if your chose to give us a reciprocal link and either (A) Did not post the link to us or (B) the link you gave us was at a different domain then what you submitted for us to link to. For example if your site is www.123.com you must place the link back to our website on the domain www.123.com and not www.SomethingElse.com.

Changes to your listing(s):

Your request for changes to any listing already published such as your request for Additions, changes, modifications or removal to listings will be at our discretion and on our time schedule.
Some Listings come with a thumbnail preview of your website. Our directory uses a third party to generate these previews and sometimes if you have updated your sites's design or content this thumbnail preview will not reflect these changes. We have no control over this and we offer no way of updating your icon.
Rejection From Our Editors
Our editors have the right to reject, block and delete any sites that do not follow these rules.
Our editors also have the right to make any changes in the title, description or keywords of your site and to change its location - move it to another category or subcategory.
You site can be blocked or removed from our directory without a prior notification if it violates the above rules.

Submitting of Articles (Content) Terms and Conditions

Anyone submitting any Content, commentary, reports, reviews, analysis or other Articles (further called Articles) to this website shall agree to these specific Terms and Conditions and the general terms and conditions of this website. We the publishers of this website, reserve the right to change or modify any or all of these terms and conditions at any time without prior notification. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions you should Not submit any Articles to this website for publication.

The person submitting Articles to this website represents that they are the Author of these Articles and represents that they have full rights to send us the Articles and that sending us the Articles for publication on this website will not violate or infringe the rights of any third person or party, including but not limited to, rights in copyrights, patents, trademarks, service marks, trade secrets or other proprietary rights. The worldwide and perpetual right to electronically publish and distribute the Articles in all versions of this website in any language and the right to translate and electronically publish and distribute the Articles to other sites under license or contract with This website; and any of our other directory websites or blogs.
The worldwide and perpetual right to include the Articles in advertising and promotion;
Publish your article in RSS format for other websites to syndicate.
The worldwide and perpetual right to include the Articles in print and non-print products anywhere in the world.

Article Criteria
Article submissions are subject to length restrictions. These are outlined below:

Although you may suggest your product or services (Hint: About the Author is a great place for this), articles are meant to be informational, helpful, and informative. Any article that is a blatant advertisement will not be included in our database.
No links to affiliate programs are allowed.
Article Title" must be at least 10 but no more than 100 character
Article short description must be at least 50 but not more than 250 characters
Article body" must be at least 50 but no more than 5,000 characters.
Info about the Author" must be no more than 255 characters.

Author Further understands and agrees that Author:

Will make certain any hypertext links within the Articles are active and working, obtain any necessary approvals from that company or entity, and make certain that such linking does not violate any copyrights, patents, trademarks, service marks, trade secrets or other proprietary rights.
Will Not make any statement that Author knows, or should have reason to know is untruthful and/or unlawful.
Will Not submit any Articles that is defamatory, libelous, obscene, or in violation of any law.

The Lawyers-Search.com website is owned, operated and maintained by Advertising Solutions Inc. The person agreeing to this contract represents that he/she has the authority to enter into this agreement and hereby accepts the following terms and conditions and the general terms & conditions of this site. You also agree to the terms of use of this website. By using our online order form and/or making any payment for advertising you are agreeing to all of the listed terms & conditions with or without signing for them. The terms we, us or our, are understood to mean Advertising Solutions Inc. and the terms I, me, my, you or your, refer to the individual and business or organization signing the contract.

Your obligations & responsibilities
Our goal is to provide the public with a list of businesses that is as accurate as possible.
You therefore agree to provide true and accurate information about yourself and your business.. Information that is believed to be misleading, untrue or incomplete will be terminated and not be published, this includes but is not limited to listing information that is false or is our opinion created for the purposes of higher placement than you would normally have or numerous listings to dominate the area. We reserve the right to change and modify or delete any part of any description you supply as part of your listings that in our opinion create a false or misleading statement to the public, such as "we are the best", or any description that in our opinion will affect our ranking within the major search engines, or any description which could be considered offensive. Your advertising will be published as you entered the information in our on-line order form. Any current or future changes to your listings and/or advertising are your responsibility. You agree to inform us of changes to your listing(s) (name, address, phone numbers and url.) and advertising content. We will make every attempt to process changes as soon as possible as time allows. In all cases changes to this site or your listing/advertising are at our determination and our discretion.

Activation of Agreement:
Terms of Agreement will begin on the day you placed your order for advertising on our Lawyers-Search.com website. Your billing cycle for advertising shall begin the day your advertising with us is activated & published (upload / posted) to this website.

Fees
You agree to pay the amounts listed on our website ordering form or published on this website for the type of advertising/ or service you have chosen per our rate schedule for types of adverting and services. You agree to pay this amount in advance of advertising being published and by the specified due date established for your account. We reserve the right to change or revise our pricing at any time. You will be notified at your next billing cycle of any changes by electronic mail (e-mail) or us postal mail. By paying this amount you agree to any and all changes or modification in our pricing or terms. Any changes in the type of advertising or changes in prices will go into effect with your next contract term.

Term
Contract term for all advertising is 12 months. By agreeing to these terms and conditions you understand and agree to a term of 12 months. This contract will automatically renew for subsequent terms unless contract in canceled by either party as described in cancellations / termination.

Payment schedule
In order for your advertising to be placed or continue (renewed) on this site, we must receive payment in advance of your due date (publication of advertising).

Billing
All advertising will be paid in advance of publication; you agree to pay for advertising by the due date on the bill in full. If payment is not made in full by the specified due date the advertising/ website will not be published or if already published will be removed. If your advertising has been removed for non-payment, or non-renewal commitment from you, your advertising space will immediately become available for sale to others.

Should at any time you want to reactivate any advertising that has previously been canceled, your new advertising space will be the next available space at the end (bottom of the search results. Please note: If you have placed an order for Paid listing(s) and our editors before publication initially reject it, you will not be billed. If however your listings have been approved and published and it is later found that you have violated any of our terms of use, terms of advertising or submission rules your listing(s) will be removed and no refunds will be issued.

Cancellations / Termination
You understand and agree that cancellation is meant as the next term (non-renewal of your advertising). You may cancel your advertising at any time. Cancellations will go into effect for the next term. We will upon your request remove your advertising or listing(s) from our site in advance of the next term. However No Refunds for current, pending or current advertising will issued. Under no circumstance will refunds in whole or in part be issued for any reason. You understand and agree that, we are under no obligation to offer refunds or discounts at any time.

Errors in listings and advertising
As previously listed, our goal is to provide the public and you the advertiser with information that is as accurate as possible. Should an error occur however by whatever means, You understand and agree that we are not responsible or liable for any error, typographic errors or omissions in any of your listings / advertising on this site or our site in part or in whole. It is your responsibility to check your advertising (listings) and contact us by US postal mail or e-mail with any and all changes including names, addresses, phone numbers, e-mail or url addresses, descriptions of any current or future advertising program you may have or may in the future purchase from us. This includes but is not limited to your original order that you placed on our on line order form.

Paid advertising
Will be placed as fast as possible providing all information you have supplied is accurate and the advertising has been paid in full. Your advertising will be published as you entered the information in our on-line order form. Information that is believed by us, to be misleading, untrue or incomplete will be terminated and not be published, or if already published will be removed, this includes but is not limited to listing information that is false or is our opinion created for the purposes of higher placement than you would normally have or numerous listings to dominate the area. We reserve the right not to publish any Listing which has a website link that is misleading, or redirecting to another site that is in our opinion is considered to be offensive. We reserve the right to change and modify or delete any part of any description you supply as part of your listings that in our opinion create a false or misleading statement to the public, such as "we are the best", or any description that in our opinion will affect our ranking within the major search engines, or any description which could be considered offensive.

Site Preview Thumbnail Add On:
We may offer a site preview thumbnail of your website as part of your listing. These site preview thumbnails may be generated from an outside third party of may be created and stored by us. Either way, should we offer a Site Preview Thumbnail program, you agree to the following; a) The website you are requesting that we take a "screen shot" of, to prepare the site thumbnail is your website and you have the legal right to make this request and are the holder of all copyrights to the website. b) You allow us to make a copy of the website page and reduce the size to a thumbnail for the purpose of displaying this thumbnail next to your listings as part of your advertising program on our website Lawyers-Search.com c) You give us the right to publish this "screen shot" thumbnail on our website. d) You give us the right to store (host) this data (thumbnail) and related files on our servers. e) You further agree that the website you are requesting the "screen shot" thumbnail for is free of any third party copyrights, intellectual property rights or proprietary rights or property rights of any third party or parties of any kind. f) You further agree to hold Advertising Solutions Inc., a Delaware Corporation DBA in New Jersey as Ad Solutions Inc., their employees, officers and their agents harmless from any claims, damages, losses or any other expenses, which might arise from me or any third party legal actions or complaints.

If the "site thumb nail program", is generated by us, you understand and agree that we will at the time of your order capture a screen shot of your website, and resize it to fit within our advertising parameters of our listings. You understand that this reduction and compression in size will cause the "thumbnail" image of your site to be blurred and the not readable. You understand and agree, that if for any reason a screen shot of your website cannot be captured and added to your listing(s) a) we are not responsible and b) you are still responsible for any orders (payments for such orders) for advertising you have placed.

Free listings
We may from time to time offer free listings and/or reciprocal listings as defined on our online order forms. In the event that we offer free and/or reciprocal listings, they are not considered by us to be a priority and are published to our website at our sole discretion and as time allows. The number of free listings and/or reciprocal listings that we accept for inclusion into our database and published to our entire website in whole or in part within a specific geographic location or specific heading are at our determination. free listings and/or reciprocal may take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks or a few months to be reviewed and published. We are not obligated to place any free and/or reciprocal listing even if you have used our online order form for such a listing. We may at our determination and sole discretion not accept orders for free and/or reciprocal listings for our complete website or for specific geographical areas or headings within specific geographical areas. We may also at our determination and sole discretion and without notice or disclosure remove any published free listings from our website in part or as a whole from our entire website or specific geographic areas or headings.
